Zero-Tolerance Abuse Governance

SimlyX works closely with global Tier-1 carrier partners (such as Telnyx LLC) and telecommunications regulators to ensure safe, legitimate communications. Any violation of this Acceptable Use Policy results in immediate, non-refundable account termination and line reclamation.

SECTION 1

1. Policy Objective & Scope

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") defines the mandatory rules governing all communications transmitted over the SimlyX network. It applies to all registered users, applications, API consumers, and virtual phone numbers issued by SimlyX.

SECTION 2

2. Permitted & Legitimate Uses

SimlyX virtual lines are designed for lawful, conversational communications including:

  • Personal privacy protection and separating business phone traffic from personal lines.
  • Receiving legitimate One-Time Passwords (OTPs) and SMS Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) verification codes.
  • Direct point-to-point human voice telephone conversations and individual SMS text messages.
  • International business calling and remote client communications.
SECTION 3

3. Prohibited Messaging (SMS Spam & 10DLC Violations)

Users are strictly prohibited from transmitting:

  • Unsolicited Bulk SMS: Sending high-volume marketing, promotional, or lead-generation messages without verifiable recipient opt-in consent (TCPA & CTIA violations).
  • Phishing & Social Engineering: Impersonating banks, government bodies, or service providers to harvest login credentials or credit card numbers.
  • Prohibited Content Categories (SHAFT): Messages promoting illegal substances, firearms, predatory lending, or deceptive cryptocurrency schemes.
SECTION 4

4. Prohibited Voice & Automated Robocalling

The following voice calling behaviors are strictly banned:

  • Predictive Autodialers & Voice Broadcasts: Using automated bots or prerecorded voice broadcasting tools.
  • High-Frequency Dialing Floods: Generating short-duration bursts of calls intended to flood telephone networks or disrupt target recipients.
  • Harassment & Threats: Making intimidating, defamatory, obscene, or threatening telephone calls.
SECTION 5

5. Caller ID Spoofing & STIR/SHAKEN Compliance

In compliance with FCC TRACED Act and international telecom standards, SimlyX enforces strict STIR/SHAKEN caller ID authentication. Users may only present caller identification corresponding directly to their verified, assigned SimlyX virtual number. Deceptive caller ID manipulation or masquerading as third-party entities is strictly forbidden.

SECTION 6

6. Carrier Automated Monitoring & Enforcement

Our Tier-1 carrier partners deploy real-time artificial intelligence fraud filters. If a virtual number triggers abnormal spam complaint metrics or carrier fraud alerts:

  • The line is immediately locked and reclaimed at the carrier PSTN level.
  • The associated SimlyX user account is terminated immediately with zero refund.
  • SimlyX cooperates with lawful law enforcement subpoenas regarding illegal telecommunications misconduct.
